This design features a nine pointed star, an emblem to represent the number nine, which has special significance in the Baha’í Faith – It is the numerical equivalent of the word “Bahá” (Abjad System) and being the highest single-digit number, it symbolizes completeness, fulfillment, unity and perfection. It also has the engraving of ‘The Greatest Name’ in Arabic – the name of comfort, protection and illumination. The Greatest Name is an invocation which means ‘O Thou Glory of Glories!’ It is a distinctive mark of the Cause and a symbol of the Baha’í Faith.
